Enigma Style Launchers by Daelnz Enigma Style Launchers by Daelnz
So this is my first attempt at a Rainmeter skin. After playing around with the ENGIMA theme i found myself having issues with the launcher icons and the space they occupied. To solve this issue I've gone and created a set of my own launchers in the exact same style. The adobe tray launcher was taken and modified from the Amana Tab Mod - Adobe Suite
I hope you enjoy them.

Engima Launchers:
5 Standard launchers
1 Adobe launcher tray

The adobe launcher tray expands to show (what I consider) the most 4 commonly used adobe shortcuts. Other icons can be found in the adobe launcher folder and can be added to the tray if you are willing to go into the code.

At some point I will be updating the skin with the ability to be able to add more launchers and probably even a way to easily customize the Adobe launcher tray

You can change the icon to whatever icon/logo you want:

-You just have to go to the Launcher folder into the Skin folder (Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Enigma Launchers\Launcher 1, etc...) then put the png. logo you want there (make sure to set up the good size)
-Then edit the ini. file in that folder: go to the [Logo] section and write the name of your png logo, example : "Imagename = deviantart.png".

Then refresh the skin and the logo should appear.

As you can see in top right corner Desktop my problem is I'm trying to launch internet websites directly from desktop, anyone know how to do please? I tried to edit ini. but without success.

I have the same problem as everyone else - get the edit launcher up and there is no option to change the icon - it is blank and does not respond to clicking it either.
Shame because it looked like it would have been a good program :(

How do you install rainfile?
timelordintheimpala Featured By Owner Aug 6, 2013
What Icon pack do you use?
moondoggie2 Featured By Owner Jun 4, 2013
working on my first standalone package that consists of highly modified themes by others, as i use only the launcher from enigma, i thought of rewriting it... just to see that you did that ;)
permission to use it?
(all the user info and credits always stay, i just modify to my liking and perhaps will release a rmskin like that)

I downloaded and have the Launcherx.ini skins for the five launchers, but clicking the icon does nothing (and it's blank). How do I get the icons working (Win 7 64 bit)?

Hello, let me start by saying thank you, this skin is amazing!
I do have a few questions though:

I was interested in tweaking the Adobe launcher to make it launch other programs as well. I was looking for the filepath for any adobe photoshop.exe in all the .ini and .inc files (in order to change it to a different program), however could not find it.

I came across the "Programs Left.ini" file in ~\Skins\Enigma Launchers\Adobe Launcher and it said

@include=#SKINSPATH#\Enigma Launchers\Lanucher 1\

I then tried to locate this .inc file however I was unable to.

Am I missing an option file?

The information about the adobe launchers can be found in "Programs Left.ini". At the bottom you will find the following:

ImageName= Program 1.png
LeftMouseupAction=!Execute [Photoshop.exe]

Simply change the last line to the file path of your desired application to get it to launch that app instead. e.g. to open VLC
LeftMouseupAction=!Execute [C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe]

Hi there, I'm having a bit of a problem. I installed Rainfile and was able to choose an icon for the shortcuts, however getting the shortcuts to appear on the desktop is another story. Only the config window actually loads, the shortcuts themselves never appear.
Daelnz Featured By Owner Nov 21, 2012
You've loaded the individual launcher skins to your desktop (found under Rainmeter skin manager), right? Because they don't automatically load when you install the skin

When I click to choose an icon, nothing happens? Please help!

I fixed the error issue. As it turns out, I didn't have an updated version of Rainmeter hehe.

However, now I can't figure out why I'm unable to choose my own icons for the launchers. A click to the squares does nothing, apparently.

Have you tried deleting and re-installing the skin? If that doesn't work try downloading the RainFile addon as you might not already have it.
gietmex Featured By Owner Jul 30, 2012
thnx this also helped me :D

After I downloaded the RainFile addon, it worked like a charm. I can officially say that it looks and works the way I'd like it to. Great job.

I'm having difficulty using this skin at all. I just downloaded the .rmskin file and installed it, but upon installation I can't change any of the options because I am met with a "Unknown !bang:..." error. That applies for all buttons that are clickable in the settings config.

I love it! =)

Can you make a start button with this?
Daelnz Featured By Owner Mar 7, 2012
If you download "OpenStartMenu" from this Site and set the OpenStartMenu.exe file as the launcher path, it should do the trick
jadawgis732 Featured By Owner Mar 2, 2012
Where did you get the background?
Daelnz Featured By Owner Mar 4, 2012
Found it from a random Google search.

If you package your skin using the .rmskin format you may submit it to the #Rainmeter skins gallery. This would also make it easier for users to install your skin. There is also a nifty application called MakeStaller that makes the process simpler.

thank you for making a launcher with single, easily customizable icons and text. i have been hoping someone would post one and was on the verge of writing one myself
